Lake Joondalup Baptist College is a co-educational College established in 1990, with the addition, at the start of 1997, of a Primary School, which now has classes for Kindergarten to Year 7. The College is a non-profit organisation, which exists to provide a low-fee, independent education within the context of the Christian faith.  The College relies on income from families in the form of fees as well as recurrent funding from the State and Commonwealth Governments. A portion of fees each year is used for capital projects.

Sibling Discounts

A reduction in the Tuition Fee of 10% is offered for a second child in the family, and 20% for third and subsequent children attending the College at the same time.

Other Course Fees

Charges for individual subjects/courses will be invoiced at the end of Term 1 each year and must be paid by Week 1, Term 2. These charges are in addition to Tuition Fees and reflect the cost of running each subject/course for which the student is enrolled. For a Year 8 student these charges are likely to be in the vicinity of $480 per annum. Every attempt is made to include excursions in the charges; however, if extra activities are incurred, these costs will be billed on your semester account.

New students will be charged course fees from the beginning of the term during which they join the College.

Pro rata course fees will not be refunded should a student be withdrawn from the College part way through the school year.

Uniforms, books, etc, must be paid for in full at the time of purchase and cannot be placed on account.  Camps and excursions are to be paid in full prior to the event. The College reserves the right to invoice families, other than for fees, should the need arise.

Notice of Withdrawal

One full term's notice in writing must be given to the Principal before the withdrawal of a student from the College.  In the event of failure to give such notice, one term's fee is payable in lieu.

Enrolment Confirmation Fee

A non-refundable enrolment confirmation fee of $500 is required approximately 18 months prior to entry, or on  receipt of an offer of a place.
The enrolment confirmation fee is non-refundable if a student fails to take up a place at the College, neither is it deductible from your first account for Tuition Fees

A non-refundable fee of $55 (including GST) per family is paid upon registration. Students entering the College are taken from the registration list in the order in which this deposit is received, with priority to siblings of current or past students. The College reserves the right to balance student numbers according to gender.

Parents & Friends Association

Parents/guardians of current students automatically become members of our P & F Association. Meetings are held once a term.

Opportunities for Parental Participation (PPP)

Our College has a wide range of talents and expertise among parents and friends, and the life of the College is enriched by our Parent Participation Program (PPP).

The  PPP program:
•    identifies and gives open recognition to the range of assistance normally provided by parents in   independent schools;
•    spreads the workload more evenly, helping to avoid the stress arising from the "And am I expected to help   in this too?" feeling;
•    permits a closer match between parent skills and the tasks to be done;
•    demonstrates to all students that each parent has skills worth contributing, and has a personal commitment to the College;
•    avoids the pressure and distraction of large scale fundraising;
•    enables parents and College staff to meet each other.
