The College actively encourages involvement in and appreciation of the Arts.
The cultural life of the College begins early in the year, when Upper School students perform publicly as part of their Drama course. The College auditorium is an asset and is utilized to showcase student work in the Arts. The College has a tradition of a major musical theatre production
every other year and a variety show the following year. These are a
major focus of College life and involve students in all year groups
across the Arts subject. The performances are eagerly anticipated by Music features at every College assembly, with students singing as well as special items and class musical performances. Individual tuition in a range of musical instruments is also a feature of the Music program. Films produced by students in Media feature in the Student Film Festival at the end of the year, in which student films are viewed publicly on the big screen. Outstanding work in Visual Arts can be found on display throughout the College all year round.
