Drama Staff


Madelaine Jones Director of Drama

Madelaine is an experienced, creative and passionate teacher who has strengths in acting, directing and writing. She has studied at the Actors Centre, London, and completed an Advanced Acting Residency at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts. Madelaine graduated with Honours in Performing Arts at Curtin University following a double degree in Drama and Education at Edith Cowan University. Madelaine has directed the 2016-2022 College Productions. Outside of school, she is an established actor who works on the stage and screen. Madelaine is always looking to share her love for the Arts.

Eileen Devereux Drama Teacher

Eileen’s love for engaging students in Drama and the Arts grew from her experience touring Western Australian schools with a Theatre in Education program between 2005-2006. She went on to graduate from Edith Cown University with a double degree in Drama and Education. During this time, she also worked in promotions, both performing and managing groups around Perth. Eileen has been involved in College productions at LJBC in 2012, 2014, 2020 and 2022. Eileen has used her second passion, photography, to capture images of performances and create show posters for publicity. She is a professional photographer much in demand for family portraits.
