LJBC facilities

In addition to bright, air conditioned classrooms, the College has a modern Technology & Enterprise Centre; specialist rooms for Media Studies, Radio, Visual Art and Class Music; Music Tutorial rooms and a Performing Arts Theatre. A large Auditorium is used for formal occasions, Assemblies, Drama Productions and concerts. The Secondary Science Block offers state of the art Science laboratories and teaching facilities. The College has a spacious Primary School Library, and a Secondary Library, both well stocked with resources and computers.

The Primary School has prioritised Nature Play and Outdoor Learning and have several beautiful nature play spaces for students from Pre Kindergarten to Year 6 to enjoy. The nature play spaces include natural materials, trees, plants, boulders, huge logs, bark, rope, balance and climbing challenges, cubbies, musical areas, outdoor nature kitchens, reflection areas, outdoor learning areas, meandering paths and water features.

Please note that Video surveillance devices are in operation on the College grounds as per the Privacy Act 1988 Surveillance Devices Act 1998 (WA).

Other facilities

Other facilities within the College include an Amphitheatre, a Canteen, a Hall, two playing fields and an oval, Basketball and Tennis Courts and a Uniform Shop. The Early Learning Centre has its own secure playground area.

Primary students have access to computers in their classrooms and the Secondary School has numerous computer laboratories. LJBC students have access to excellent information technology facilities, including wireless access to the College’s network throughout the College.

Sports centre

Construction on a new Sports Centre was completed in 2015, which encompasses two large courts, a weights room, function room and learning facilities including classrooms.
