The Lower Secondary years are important transition and formative years. LJBC’s Lower Secondary curriculum provides students with a strong foundation in the Eight Learning Areas, and maximises student aspirations and academic choice as they progress through the Secondary School.

Some classes, including English and Maths, are streamed according to ability to enhance student learning. LJBC students are encouraged to set realistic goals and to aspire to personal excellence in their studies.
